Since it’s formation in 1971, SDL has established a world wide reputation for the manufacture of high quality, ceramic wire wound platinum resistance detectors, and is now recognised as being one of the premier producers of wire wound elements, supplying many leading RTD manufacturers throughout the world with high quality detectors.
Detectors are available, at competitive prices, to meet all of the recognised International Specifications, including IEC60751;2008, Tolerance Classes W0.3, W0.15, & W0.1 in diameters from 0.78 to 4.5mm, in all tolerance classes.
SDL detectors are manufactured to the highest possible standards, using premium grade platinum wire, closely monitored through its’ UKAS laboratory to routinely produce detectors offering the best possible stability and repeatability, far beyond those required by IEC60751;2008, Class W0.1 for instance
The company operates to ISO;2008, and its’ calibration laboratory is accredited to UKAS, offering uncertainties as low as ±0.6mK, and the capability to calibrate over the range
–85°C/650°C.
