Sensing Devices has gained European Ex Directive (94/9/EC) and IECEx international certification for the specialist manufacture of temperature sensors for use in hazardous and explosive atmospheres. Sensor and RTDs Devices falling within the scope of both directives must comply to stringent certification.
We manufacture Ex and IECEX certified RTDs and Stator sensors to Ex ia, Ex e and Ex d standards. Our experienced technical team can provide advice on certification and the best assembly configurations.
Ex certified RTDs and stator sensors are manufactured in-house to rigorous Ex & IECEx processes and documentation. We assemble sensors approved for use in areas with the following protection classifications:
